Palworld breeding calculator
Pick a source and a target species and the calculator maps every shortest breeding chain between them, with a suitable partner for each step. Breeding data is verified against palcalc.
How breeding works in Palworld
The child of a pair is set by Palworld 1.0 rules. A same-species pair always produces the same species. Some pairs have a unique combination that yields a special child. Otherwise the child's species is computed by a formula: it takes the species whose breeding power is closest to the parents' average.
To move a passive onto the species you want, you run a breeding chain from a carrier of the passive to the target: passives are inherited from parent to child. The fewer extra passives a pair has, the higher the transfer chance. The calculator finds every shortest path between species; which partner to use at each step is up to you.
